I am Gilbert Pellegrom. Generally I live in Elgin, Moray, Scotland but occasionally I migrate south to the “big city”, otherwise known as Glasgow, to study a Bsc in Software Engineering at the University of Strathclyde.

My skills involve a sound knowledge of PHP, XHTML, CSS, Java, Javascript, AJAX, ASP.NET, C#, SQL, XML, MySQL including some experience in Flash, C and Perl. I also have extensive experience with Wordpress, CodeIgniter, MS Visual Studio, Eclipse, CVS, SVN, Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver.

Some of my interests include programming, web design, gaming, drums and guitar, skateboarding, snowboarding, basketball, football and yes I do even enjoy the old book once in a while. I am also a committed Christian and an active member of Elgin Baptist Church.

For the past few years I have been working as a freelance web designer based online. You can have a look at my portfolio page to see my work. Currently I am working full time on a year placement as part of my degree as a Trainee Software Engineer.
