Small Update

Just to let you know of a few small tweaks I have made over today.

CheckR v1.2.1 was released today to fix a bug which made it crash when it tried to check mail more than once at the same time. So if you are using CheckR please go and download the latest version.

Also today I have updated my web design portfolio. It is now in the form of a cool flash magazine. This coincides with the update of this website design which was made earlier today. Why not go and check it out via my portfolio page.

CheckR v1.2

I have just released the latest version of my small tray email checking app CheckR. There are many new improvements which include GUI changes, speed increases and better support for custom popup skins. To see a full list of changes you can head over to the CheckR page.

CheckR v1.1

Less than a week after CheckR was released it has it’s first update. There are quite a few changes in this version which include:

  • Added skinnable Taskbar Notifier
  • Added “Tell Me Again” to context menu
  • Added ability to change the checking interval
  • Changed notifications so that only when new messages arrive a notification pops up.

I hope some people will use this app and it might prove useful to someone. I use it in work because we are not allowed Digsby. Any comments/suggestions very welcome.

CheckR Release

Do you have several email accounts that need checked regularly? CheckR is a simple program that sits in your system tray and checks to see if you have any new emails. If you have new mail a nice pop up will appear telling you. Isn’t that nice.

This is my first app written in C# and .NET. I hope this is useful and any comments/suggestions are more than welcome. Try CheckR now.
