Following the principles of progressive enhancement I am going to show you some CSS3 techniques which I have been using in my sites recently and which I would encourage you to start using as well.
“But not all browsers support CSS3 techniques yet!” I hear you say. Yes this is true. However, these are techniques which you should use only to enhance the experience for a user. They should not be fundamental for your web site/app to function. After all if we designers and developers don’t start to use them how will they ever get adopted in the mainstream.

Here is a quick question for you. There seems to be some concern with my latest ThemeForest theme regarding the fact that the post heading tags are <H1>.
So the question is: Does having more than one <H1> tag per page on your site affect your page rank/SEO score?

For a while now I have been wanting to do my own version of Tim Van Damme’s personal information site. From the moment I saw it I thought it was very cool and there have been some great revisions from other designers (as well as some bad ones). So this was my attempt at a new about page.

There is quite a mix of cool jQuery and quirky CSS techniques used in there. One of the things I’m most impressed with is that the site works in every browser (yes even including IE6) and even the fading animations work. So head on over and check it out and let me know what you think.
