Here is a great tutorial from PSDTuts. If, like me, you’ve ever wondered how to easily touch up your images in photoshop this is a great place to start.

MoreCSS is a small JavaScript library for everyday things, like creating popups, tab menus (for example like the one above), tables and lists with “zebra”-style … etc. But the really special thing is: you can do these things like in regular CSS. All you have to do is include MoreCSS.js and an external stylesheet file in your page header. Quite cool.

IMO is a web-based instant messaging service where you can instant message and video chat with your friends on AIM, Google Talk, MSN, and Yahoo Messenger. IMO has also created a version of imo for the desktop. Now you can choose to have imo start up and sign you in automatically when you turn on your computer, all without having to open a web browser. The service also offers a Facebook application, which allows you to IM and video chat with friends on Facebook. Well worth a look.

I’ve been so busy over the last few months I’ve had no time to work on my site, but I decided a new look was in order. So this is my fresh new look. It’s a lot lighter and corporate than the last one. So enjoy. Some sites I use for inspiration include css remix, best web gallery, web designer wall and dezinerfolio.

Well IE8 Beta1 is available for download. The only feature I was really looking for in this new release was proper support for CSS, and I was very relieved when I discovered that this was one of the features. Apart from that however the list of new features is a bit… bland.
I stopped using IE as an actual browser over a year ago now. The only reason IE comes back to haunt me is due to the fact I’m a web developer, and I spend half of my time “fixing” my sites so they appear correctly in IE. But maybe I shouldn’t be too hard on IE and at least give this new version a chance. To be honest though I’m far more interested in Firefox 3 looming on the horizon which is already in its 3rd beta.
